This resizer has the most common combinations ready as one-click presets, and every value can be changed if your form says something different.
How to Use the Exam Photo Resizer
- Choose your photo or signature.
- Pick the closest preset: photo 3.5 × 4.5 cm or 200 × 230 px, signature 6 × 2 cm or 140 × 60 px, or thumb 240 × 240 px.
- Adjust if needed – type the width, height and maximum KB your notification gives.
- Click Resize image and download.

Reading Your Notification
- "3.5 cm × 4.5 cm" is a print size – choose cm here; the DPI turns it into pixels.
- "200 × 230 pixels" is a screen size – choose pixels and ignore DPI.
- "20 KB to 50 KB" is a range – set 50 as the maximum; if the result is under 20 KB, raise it with Increase Image Size in KB.
- "JPG/JPEG only" – keep the format on JPG.
Before You Resize
- Crop to head and shoulders with Crop Image so the photo is not stretched.
- Use a plain white background – White Background Passport Photo does it in one click.
- Need name and date below the photo? Use Add Name & Date on Photo.
- Need photo and signature on one image? Use Merge Photo & Signature.
