RPSC exams – RAS, school lecturer, senior teacher, assistant professor – and most Rajasthan government recruitments are filled through the SSO Rajasthan recruitment portal. Its instructions ask for a 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo of 50–100 KB and a scanned signature of up to 50 KB. This page has both presets – and a note on the rule that trips up many candidates.

"Signature Photo From Mobile Not Accepted"

Rajasthan's upload instructions say a photograph of a signature taken with a mobile phone is not accepted – the signature should be scanned. If you don't have a scanner, a scanner app that produces a flat, white, high-contrast page is the closest equivalent. Clean the result with Black & White Image and crop tightly with Crop Image before resizing.

RPSC Photo and Signature Size

  • Photograph: 3.5 × 4.5 cm, JPG, 50–100 KB, must not exceed 100 KB.
  • Signature: scanned, JPG, up to 50 KB, black or blue ink on white paper.
  • Below 50 KB? A 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo can come out at 30–45 KB; the Photo preset enlarges it to the minimum automatically.

RPSC and the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board publish exact values in each advertisement, and some coaching sites quote other sizes. Use the numbers in your own notice if they differ from these.

REET and Rajasthan Police

REET and Rajasthan Police forms may use different sizes. If yours does, type the width, height and KB from the advertisement into the Exam Photo Resizer.
