The CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) form by CBSE asks for a scanned photo and signature in exact sizes: recent notices give a 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo of 10–100 KB and a 3.5 × 1.5 cm signature of 3–30 KB. How to Resize Your Photo and Signature for CTET
- Choose your photo – a recent colour photo with your face clearly visible.
- Photo 3.5 × 4.5 cm is selected; click Resize image.
- Choose your signature and select Signature 3.5 × 1.5 cm.
- Download both and upload them on ctet.nic.in.
CTET Photo and Signature Size
- Photograph: 3.5 cm wide × 4.5 cm tall, JPG, 10–100 KB.
- Signature: 3.5 cm × 1.5 cm, JPG, 3–30 KB.
- Signature style: black or blue ink on plain white paper. CBSE has warned that a signature written in capital block letters can lead to cancellation.
Sizes may change with each CTET session (February/July or December). Read the information bulletin before uploading.
Getting the Photo Right
- Use a light, plain background – White Background Passport Photo fixes a busy one.
- Crop to head and shoulders with Crop Image so the 3.5 × 4.5 shape is not stretched.
- The same photo appears on your admit card and certificate – choose one you are happy with.
Applying for State TETs Too?
