PDF Redactor
Black out text and images for good – the content underneath is removed.
Your files are processed on your device and are never uploaded.
Black out names, account numbers, addresses and anything else you must not share – for good. Drag over text or pictures, or search a word and use Redact all matches. Redacted pages are flattened, so the hidden content is removed from the file, not just covered.
The editing is done on your device, so private documents never leave it.
How to Redact a PDF
- Choose your PDF. The pages appear in the editor.
- Mark what to hide: Drag over text or pictures. To hide a word everywhere, search for it and click Redact all matches.
- Check every page – look for the same detail in headers, footers and tables.
- Undo anything you do not like, then click Save PDF.
Real Redaction, Not Just a Black Box
Drawing a black rectangle in many PDF apps only covers the text – anyone can copy it out from underneath. Here, every page with a redaction is flattened into an image with the black areas burned in, so the hidden text and pictures are truly gone from the file. Other pages are left as they are.
Keep your original file: redaction cannot be undone after saving.
