Sign PDF
Draw, type or upload a signature and place it on the PDF.
Your files are processed on your device and are never uploaded.
Sign a PDF without printing it. Draw your signature with a mouse or finger, type it in a handwriting font, or upload a photo of your signature on paper – the white background is removed. Place it on the page, resize it, add the date and save.
The editing is done on your device, so private documents never leave it.
How to Sign a PDF
- Choose your PDF. The pages appear in the editor.
- Create your signature: Draw, Type or Upload, choose the ink colour, and click Place signature.
- Position it: Drag the signature to the signature line and resize it. Add the date with the Date tool if needed.
- Undo anything you do not like, then click Save PDF.
Is an Electronic Signature Valid?
A picture of your signature on a PDF is a simple electronic signature. It is accepted for many everyday documents – rental agreements, forms, consent letters and invoices. Some contracts and government processes require a certified digital signature (with a certificate from an authorised provider); check what the recipient needs.
Tip: a photo of your signature on white paper, taken in good light, gives the most natural result with Upload.
