Amazon shipping labels often arrive as a PDF sized for A4 or Letter paper, with the label taking up only part of the page. This Amazon label cropper cuts each label out and puts it on a 4 × 6 inch page – the size thermal label printers use – or places two labels on each A4 sheet for a regular printer.

It works for labels from Seller Central, Easy Ship and Self Ship orders, and for return labels a buyer has to print at home.

How to Crop an Amazon Label to 4 × 6

  1. Download the label PDF from the orders page of Amazon Seller Central, or the return label Amazon sends you.
  2. Open it here. The first page is shown with the crop box over the usual label position.
  3. Adjust the box so the barcode, tracking number and both addresses are fully inside. Drag to move, use the round handle to resize.
  4. Choose 4 × 6 in label pages (or 2 labels per A4) and click Crop labels.
  5. Print at 100% / Actual size on your label printer.

Setting Up a Thermal Printer for 4 × 6 Labels

  • In the printer driver, create or choose a paper size of 4 × 6 in (101.6 × 152.4 mm).
  • Leave orientation on Automatic: a label that is wider than it is tall is placed on a landscape 6 × 4 in page, and the driver turns it to fit the roll.
  • Turn off any "Fit to page" or "Shrink oversized pages" option in the print dialog.
  • Print a single test label and scan its barcode with your phone before printing the batch.

Return Labels at Home

Buyers often have no thermal printer, and Amazon's return label is a full page with instructions around it. Crop just the label, print it on plain paper and tape it to the box – the barcode stays sharp, so the courier can scan it.

Several Orders in One File

When you print labels for many orders at once, the box you set on the first page is used for all of them. Pages are cropped as vector content, so text and barcodes stay perfectly sharp at any printer resolution.

Free and Private

Nothing is uploaded: the label is cropped inside your browser, so tracking numbers and customer addresses stay on your device. No account, no watermark.

Can I crop an Amazon return label?
Yes. Open the return label PDF from Amazon, crop it the same way and print it on plain paper or a label sticker.
My printer prints the label too small. What is wrong?
