Bulk Resize for Website / Blog
Make every photo 1200 px wide and save it as WebP at 75% quality – sizes that suit blogs, landing pages and online galleries. Pages load faster, and the pictures still look sharp on laptop screens.
A 12-megapixel phone photo of 3–5 MB usually comes out at 100–250 KB with these settings.
Already set on this page: Width 1200 px, height in proportion · Compress image at 75% quality · Output as WebP. You can change any of these before you start.
How to Use the Bulk Resizer
- Add your images: Choose PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG files, or drag a whole folder onto the page. There is no limit on the number of files.
- Check the settings: Pick Pixels or Percentage, enter the size, and decide whether to keep the aspect ratio, compress the files and change the output format.
- Click Resize images: Every file is processed in your browser, with a progress bar.
- Download: Click Download all images to get one ZIP file, or save single images from the list.
Options You Can Use
- Pixels or percentage: Fixed sizes for forms and platforms, or a share of the original for mixed folders.
- Maintain aspect ratio: Enter just the width and the height follows, so nothing looks squashed. Untick it to force an exact width and height.
- Compress image: A quality slider makes files lighter.
- Output format: Keep the original format, or convert everything to JPEG, PNG or WebP.
- Rename all: Give the files a pattern like
holiday-{n}or{name}-small. - One-off changes: Click a file name, width or height in the list to set its own name or size.
Choosing the Right Size
File size depends mostly on the number of pixels. A modern phone photo is around 4000 × 3000 px – far more than any screen needs. For websites, 1200–1600 px wide is plenty; for email, 1024 px; for social posts, 1080 px. Then a quality of 70–80% trims the file further with no visible loss.
Avoid making photos larger than their original size – enlarging cannot add detail, so the result looks soft.
Private, Fast and Unlimited
All the resizing happens on your own device, so there is no upload wait and your pictures stay private. It is free with no sign-up and no watermark. For one photo with more control, use Resize Image in Pixels.
