Bulk Image Compressor
Got a folder of 200 photos that is too heavy to email, upload or keep on your phone? The bulk image compressor lowers the file size of every photo in one batch with a single quality slider – preset to 70% – while the width and height stay exactly as they were. Download everything together in one ZIP.
How to Compress Many Images at Once
- Add your photos – select a whole folder's worth, drag them in, or use Add more images.
- Set the quality. 70% is a good balance; see the guide below.
- Optional: choose an output format, or rename all files with a pattern like
trip-{n}. - Click Resize images – it runs the whole batch – and click Download all images to get the ZIP.
Quality Guide
- 85–90% – almost no visible change; files shrink by roughly a third. For photos you may print.
- 70–80% – the sweet spot for screens, sharing and websites; files are often half the size or less.
- 50–60% – much smaller files for previews, thumbnails or archive copies; fine detail starts to soften.
- Below 50% – visible blockiness; only for cases where size matters more than looks.
Savings depend on the source. Photos straight from a phone or camera usually shrink a lot; images that were already compressed for the web shrink less.
Compress Without Resizing – or Both
This page keeps every photo's pixel size, which is what you want when dimensions are already right. If your photos are huge (4000 px and up) and only need to look good on screens, also enter a width such as 1920 px – lowering the resolution saves far more than quality alone. The Bulk Image Resizer page starts from those settings.
Need One Photo Under an Exact Size?
A batch compressor uses one quality for all photos, so file sizes still vary. If a form demands, say, "under 50 KB", use Reduce Image Size in KB, which finds the right quality for that one file.
Private, Free, No Limits
Photos are compressed in your browser, so even hundreds of pictures never leave your device. No sign-up and no watermark.
