Resize PDF in KB
Resize a PDF to the KB size an upload form asks for.
Pages are converted to optimised images, so text in the result can't be selected.
Your files are processed on your device and are never uploaded.
Resize a PDF in KB to exactly what an online form allows – "maximum 100 KB", "between 50 KB and 200 KB", "up to 300 KB". This PDF resizer is set to 100 KB; type any other number and it shrinks the file to just under it. Made for the document upload step of government, exam, job, scholarship and admission forms.
How to Resize a PDF in KB
- Choose the PDF – a certificate, mark sheet, ID proof or filled form.
- Type the KB limit from your form, or tap a preset.
- Tick Black & white for plain text documents – they get smaller and clearer.
- Click Compress PDF, check the size shown, and download.
KB Limits You Will Meet
- 20–50 KB: caste, income and domicile certificates on many state portals – see Compress PDF to 50KB.
- 100 KB: mark sheets, ID proofs and experience letters on recruitment and admission forms.
- 200–300 KB: multi-page documents such as degree certificates with all semesters – see Compress PDF to 200KB.
- 500 KB–1 MB: bank statements, visa documents and project reports.
Too Small Instead of Too Big?
Some portals also set a minimum, for example "between 100 KB and 500 KB". If your PDF is below it, raise it with Increase PDF Size – the pages look exactly the same.
Several Documents in One PDF?
When a form wants all documents in a single file under a KB limit, combine and resize them in one step with Merge & Compress PDF. Photos of documents can be turned into a PDF of the right size with JPG to PDF Under 100KB.
