How to Add Text to an Image
- Choose your image: Select or drag in a photo.
- Type your text: Enter the words you want on the picture.
- Style it: Choose a font (Sans, Serif, Impact, Typewriter, Comic or Script), the size, text colour, outline colour and thickness, Bold, and an optional background box.
- Position it: Drag the text on the image. Use + Add another text for more lines, or Delete selected text to remove one.
- Click Save image and download.
Name and Date on Photo
Many recruitment exams require a photograph with the candidate's name and date of photo below the face. Open Add Name & Date on Photo, type your name and date, and adjust the band height – the text is added on a clean white strip under the photo.
Tips
- Use a dark outline on light text (or the reverse) so captions are readable on busy photos.
- Impact with a white fill and black outline gives the classic meme look.
- Keep important text away from the edges so it is not cropped by social apps.
